Goodbye old friend

Yesterday we said goodbye to an old friend. After 6 years and 60,000 miles, Paca finally gave up. She was to the point of not worth fixing. We went to sell her for parts and just as Brad was towing her into the salvage yard, a guy pulled up and offered us more money for her. Turns out, it's Brad's brother Karl's brother-in-law. He's going to try and fix Paca up so she can go back out on the street. But, regardless, we said our goodbyes. I have to say, I'm pretty saddened by the whole thing. But, I guess there are different times in our lives and our cars kind of match our lives. There's the single car, the fun car, the family car, and the retirement car. We enjoyed the fun, Paca, and you will be missed!
